The Story

When I worked in marketing, our team was very small, and so we weren’t always able to rely on our graphic designer to handle every client project. Because of this, I quickly learned the basics of print design and was soon entrusted to develop and edit magazine ads for our client, Layher NA. I was often given a premise, some photographs, and the company’s design guide and left to my own devices. Through trial and error (and much guidance from my more seasoned teammates), I was able to hone my skills in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and print design.
